What is the admission process?
Admission is open to all children irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region, subject to rules of Guruprasad Education Society and the availability of seats in each class.
- Download the Application Form from this website or contact the school office for the same.
- Fill up all the details on the Application Form and submit along with the necessary documents in the school office.,/li>
- Submission of the form does not ensure admission or acceptance to the school.
- Admission decision will be conveyed to the parents.
What are the documents required at the time of admission?
The following documents are required to be submitted:
- Photocopy of the student’s birth certificate and Aadhar Card (if applicable).
- School leaving certificate (can be submitted later if currently unavailable).
- UDISE Number (Unified District information System for Education) from current school (applicable for admissions from Std 1 onwards).
- Photocopy of the current class Report Card (applicable for admissions from Std 1 onwards).
- 3 passport-size photographs of the student.
What are the school timings?
10:00 A.M to 4:30 P.M
What curriculum or board does the school follow?
Guruprasad High School is a Kannada-medium School recognized by the Department of Public Instruction, Uttara Kannada District, Karnataka and it currently follows the State Board curriculum.
What kind of entrance test will be taken at the time of admission?
A written test is conducted for lateral entries from Class I to VI during the time of admission on syllabus pertaining to the previous class studied.
Will uniforms and books be provided by the school?
2 sets of Uniforms are freely supplied from the management every year for 8th class students.
Does the School offer transport facility?
No, Currently the school does not offer any transport facility.
